How do I secure a wireless network

I use both wired and wireless network at home. I am lucky enough to have an Internet Service Provider (ISP), offering up to three IP addresses. I connected the switch to my modem, router, and two (one wired, wireless and others) to the switch. Each router has its own IP address from my ISP. My desktop is connected to the wired router, and two laptops connect to the wireless connection. I can either connect laptop to the wired router with a network cable, if I choose to asgood.

The biggest problem I address in setting up the wireless network would be that of security. I was always skeptical about wireless security, but since I have bought a laptop, I decided to give, to try wireless networks.

There are many discussions on how to secure a wireless connection, some good, some bad, and some useless. This post will not go into detail of how to change the router settings in order to be sure, but it was discussed what needs to bechanged.

Administrative credentials - Important
This is important if you have a wireless or wired network. Ensure that all APs (Access Points) is a good strong password with the administrative account are linked.
