Best Ever cold approach "Call

A $ 250,000 sales in first call? Believe it.

Almost all my customers to do business-to-business, based on reports of sale, much or all of these procedures) made by phone (Note: The following approach that also works face to face its share. Therefore, only a small phone really "cool", but these calls require the highest levels of telesales skills, because the stage for what follows.

In the first call to a prospect, will give you ten seconds toIdeally, four things to do - say who you are, what you work for companies, what the company does, and then a short, non-threatening way and the reason for your visit. A really big challenge.

The first three points - called the greeting in the area of telephone sales - are simple, but still require thought. I always suggest before you provide your name, with prospects, as it is easy and completely reduced the immediate suspicion.

If youThat is to say what the company does, I think that saying that is compact and conversational. For example, although the Walt Disney Company may, in 100 companies, a simple and straightforward description, theme parks and film people "could be involved.

The last part of the title, the murderess is, it does not necessarily threatening, especially for a foreigner at that time. But how can a total stranger that you need to help explain the real time to communicate his, without him, or scare them?

As one selling it only for 17 years, I was always looking for a better approach to use with prospects. The ideal was to find a use for almost any product or service, and I found a couple that works pretty well. And then I met Frank.

I hired Frank as a telesales professional for a client in California, a Value-Added Reseller of IT products. Frank had worked in the financial services sector, and the first day of work, shouted a large chain of restaurants in the area and used a title that I had never heard before.

I was stunned when he came to me the same day to say that there were 50 laptops at full load for the chain of sales for a total of $ 250,000.

This was Frank Benvenuto and title:

"Jack, this is Frank Jordan with Microline in Santa Ana, we are a reseller of cost-plus-hardware, and I wanted to see which way to go for me to compete for some of your ..."

I was impressed, and II got permission from Frank to use the title in the future. That's what makes it work.

First, note that the title is both aggressive and gentle, and the balance of the title, Frank is doing the most important things in a very short time:

1) "... the method you want to follow me ..." Frank knows that the view is not that Frank is responsible for this process. Frank also announced that from the perspective of each tire will jump through it, even ifThis could be a significant amount of time.

2) "... ... not to compete (" get gain "or" "- Frank knows that there are other suppliers)

3) "... some (not" all "-. Frank knows that he can start too small) of your company ..."

With each word, communication is Frank soon, patience, respect and willingness to see the rules that everyone says it clear he wants for the future, be followed by radar.

Also note that Frank is able to communicateeverything needs - who he is, has the company, call the company and what the reason for his call - as requested by the prospect of his first application for qualification! Many approaches telesales initial problems in terms of initial suspicions are not met, and are usually guaranteed for a ticket dismissal.

Because there are so many lousy sales calls, cold call approaches must be prepared exquisitely. The situation of turnover may have something different from"How To" the item listed above, but make sure it's diversity, needs immediate psychological perspective and we'll disappear just as good as in the result.

A Strategic Approach To Planning For A New Business Year - Ask Your Clients Questions

A new business year has begun and hopefully your strategic thinking and planning has been underway for some time. A strategic thinking business coach suggests that asking clients some probing questions will be very beneficial in your planning efforts for the new business year. The strategy of asking these questions is to gain insight for developing the best solutions for your clients' problems.

Asking questions will help you gain needed information from your clients; build rapport with your clients; increase the clients' comfort level; understand the clients' needs; and discover the clients' concerns, frustrations and fears.
You can begin by asking questions that will let you know what is going right with your clients and hen transition into areas where problems may have occurred. And it is always important to initially focus on your client, rather than you and your client. It is critical that you make sure the client understands that he or she has ownership in this process of questioning.

What are some examples of questions you could ask your clients? Your strategic thinking business coach suggests the following:

1. What are your goals for the new business year?

2. What strategies do you expect to use to capitalize on last year's successes?

3. What do you believe is the number one challenge for your business in the new year?

4. What is the single biggest frustration you have in your business going into the new year?

5. What is the one major change you want to make happen in your business in the new year?

6. What is the one thing you value most about our working relationship?

7. What can we do to sustain and enhance our business relationship?

8. How can we improve on the services we provide to you?

9. If you could change just one thing about our business relationship, what would it be?

10. How can we be a more valuable asset and resource for your business?

You will be pleasantly surprised at what your clients will divulge to you that they never to9ld you before. And why is this so? I will tell you why - because you never took the time to ask them. Your strategic thinking business coach advises "always know who you are doing business with" and if you do, you will be in a much more strategic position to provide better client solutions because you will understand your clients' real needs and goals.

An 8-Step Strategic Marketing Approach For New Business From Former Clients

How much of your marketing effort is dedicated to marketing and obtaining new clients or customers? Are you devoting your entire marketing effort to find new clients? Or are you using some strategic thinking and developing a strategy to get back in touch with former clients to gain new business from them? It has always intrigued me in my business coaching and business consulting practices that so many businesses give very little effort to or totally ignore past clients and customers that are no longer active.

Not keeping in touch with former clients and customers is very short-term thinking and definitely is not strategic thinking. Actually, former clients and customers can be the best source of new business for you. Remember, it costs anywhere from 2 to 40 times as much to acquire a new client or customer than to keep an existing client or customer. With this in mind, Your Strategic Thinking Business Coach offers the following 8 strategic steps to gain new business from your former clients and customers by building an effective contact program.

Strategic Step #1: Develop a list of all your former clients and customers, as well as centers of influence and other referral sources. This may mean sorting through old business cards, address lists in word processing files or old address books, etc, You should also put on that list the names and contact information of friends, colleagues, suppliers, professional associates, etc. The most important thing is to compile the list and then you can look at the list later to determine if any contacts should be deleted.

Strategic Step #2: Determine the message you want to deliver to the contacts on your list. You do not need a specific reason to contact them. It is legitimate to contact them to see how they are doing and to "just touch base" with them. When developing your message, you must incorporate what action you want the recipient of your message to take after receiving it.

Strategic Step #3: Determine the methods of contact to deliver your message. This will probably include: telephone calls, an email, or a letter. The key here is to be as personal as possible when you make the contacts. You will probably break your list into categories of method of contact.

Strategic Step #4: Determine the number of contacts you want to make and within what specified time period. Prioritization of your contact list is a strategic thinking move. You only have so much time, so use it wisely and strategically.
This may also cause you to do a "time-released" contact due to the needed follow-up after the contacts.

Strategic Step #5: Determine your "follow-up" plan. This will be dependent upon what action you have asked your contact to take after receiving your message. You must commit to making sure you do the follow-up contacts in a timely manner.

Strategic Step #6: Develop and implement a tracking program so you can evaluate the effectiveness of your client/customer contact program.

Strategic Step #7: Commit to continuous improvement in your client/customer contact program. Review your efforts on a regular basis and adjust your program as needed.

Strategic Step #8: Seek outside advice and assistance from a business coach or marketing consultant to gain additional insights and to be sure you hold yourself accountable in this effort.

Your strategic thinking business coach encourages you to fully realize the benefits of business coaching to strategically market and grow a profitable business.
