The science behind remote access

A person who has a position of remote access and access to data, information and files and the computer as a whole by another device at each site. All you really need is a good internet connection and remote control software to create a computer-based service or network. Directions to the installed, users can now access their systems from any computer.

How does remote access work computer? Here are the three essential components thatneeded to build a remote access service.

What is a network system? For RAS, you need a network. It is typically used when an organization uses its own network in a building or office, allowing employees to access the network from a remote location. Microsoft Great Plains. Axapta, SAP Business One, Oracle E-Business Suite-SQL Databases/Companies

Corporate ERP clients sometimes come up with the question, which can not be answered by one specific ERP reseller. Very good example is this question: our corporation has about 100 legal entities, such as subsidiaries in Brazil, Colombia, France, Germany, Russia, plus we have legal entities in the USA by product lines and services. Microsoft Dynamics GP/Great Plains. The architecture of Great Plains requires separate SQL Server database for the company/legal entity. You can have intercompanies transactions, but you should do in this case intercompanies records in GL by hand or have Intercompanies Transactions module (or advanced intercompanies module from third party)

Oracle Financials/Applications/E-Business Suite. Regarding Oracle Applications, it has an organization model that you can define organizations and the relationship among them. Using this model, you are able to define different structures to customize Oracle Applications according to your business need. The basics business needs are:

o Use a single installation of Oracle Applications product to support any number of organization (just one database instance)

o Support any number of legal entities within a single installation of Oracle Applications.

o Secure access to data so that users can access only the information that is relevant to them

o Sell products from a legal entity that uses one set of books and ship them from another legal entity using a different set of books.

o Purchase products through one legal entity and receive them in another legal entity.

Thanksgiving - A Perfect Time to Thank Your Clients

Americans have been celebrating Thanksgiving for over 300 years. The Pilgrims at Plymouth Rock and Wampanoag Indians celebrated their first feast in 1621. Today, Americans celebrate Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday in November. Most companies are closed and their employees spend the day with their families eating the traditional turkey with all the trimmings. The morning may begin with a worship service or by turning on the television to watch The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade which takes place in New York City. Later in the day, football takes over. Two teams in particular, the Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys, play every Thanksgiving Day.

The day after Thanksgiving has become known as "Black Friday." Shoppers rise early to take advantage of the "door buster" sales, many lining up the night before to get the best deals. By Black Friday, the Holiday season is in full swing. Christmas carols start playing on the radio continuously and the malls are consistently busy.

In late November or early December, most companies start to think about what they will send their clients as a holiday gift. They want to show their appreciation to their clients for their business and loyalty throughout the year. During the month of December those clients are showered with presents, hand delivered and/or shipped to their door. Some of the goodies include: holiday floral arrangements, chocolates, cookies, fruit, and of course, gift baskets. The employees enjoy receiving these gifts and many are shared around the office. However, by mid-December many company break-rooms are inundated with these gifts and some can go almost unnoticed.

Forward thinking companies have started to send their gifts during the second week of November. They send a Thanksgiving gift; after all, the intention of sending a gift around the holidays is to thank their clients! What better time to do that than Thanksgiving? Your company will be considered "on the ball" and organized, and your gift will be noticed and enjoyed well before any of the others even arrive. You will also have peace of mind in knowing that your clients have been properly thanked - one month early!

Start building your list in late September of who you would like to thank. Most companies tend to send gifts to the top 20% of their client base. These are the companies that give them the majority of their business and; therefore, deserve a proper thank you. Decide to whom you will hand deliver your gifts, or if they will need shipped.

Gift baskets are the perfect Thanksgiving gifts to send. If you are sending to an office, plan on sending an array of snack foods, sweets or baked goods. Using a bow in a Thanksgiving motif and a Thanksgiving greeting card will make a lasting impression to your client. Gift baskets get noticed because of their size, creativity, and because there is usually something in them for everyone. They are always the type of delivery that causes employees to gather around and discuss the contents. If you send a gift basket in November, you are guaranteed to be thought of as the company who remembered them first!
