10 tips and links to facilitate Windows

There are a number of tricks and shortcuts that are relatively well known among people involved with Windows a lot over the last 14 years of its existence. However, we tend to assume that everyone knows these things, when in reality it is not.

Some of these functions are documented in the Windows help file ', but I noticed (with our office and my colleagues, for example) that most people never read the help file. I guess I'm a bit 'boring ...

Sofurther ado, here are some tips for Windows Turbo:

(If a key name is bold, it means Hold It Down, while the other buttons)

Before Windows key (window on the wheel IT) and E to open Windows Explorer, instead of right-click the My Computer icon on your desktop, click and then click Explore. Very useful if your desktop is full of open windows and you want to open another Explorer window.

According Ctrl + B for the preparation of selected text in bold

ThirdCtrl + C to copy selected text to clipboard

Fourth document Ctrl-V to insert the text into a new one.

A fifth Ctrl select all, or all the text in a document or all files in Windows Explorer.

Sixth Prt Sc High clipboard to copy the currently open windows. You can then Ctrl V to paste to do as a JPEG image into a document or an image editing program.

Seventh Ctrl Shift Esc opens the Task Manager, you can see where and what processes are running,Stop if you do not obey, and not the neighbors. Task Manager also provides a chart of how difficult your job CPU and memory are shown.

8th in Windows Explorer and Outlook Express (and other programs) when you are on the column headers, everything is sorted by the alphabetical / numerical order of the column. Clicking again will reverse order.

A ninth-click a word in the text mark twice (eg the brand), the word. Click the word three times in quickSequence to select the entire sentence, line or paragraph. (Depending on your text editor)

10th Windows Explorer when you hold down the Ctrl key pressed, you can click on a series of files, accidental, and select it, even if they are connected (for foreign readers, this means that one after the other)
