Attracting new customers to your business
A question which appears frequently on attracting new customers. This is especially true for the business that is being started.
Most of us have not thousands of dollars just sitting around for marketing use. But there are several ways you can find the first customer, spending little or no money. Here are a few tips:
1. Simply start with the question. If you are currently employed, ask your current customers how they found this particular practice. Inmost cases you will find all the information you need to start marketing. If you already have in your own practice, ask each new person, how they found you.
2. You want the offer of depending on who you are the ideal customer is. Consider contact with the hospital's emergency room, urgent care centers or retail practice SHS discharge from hospital planners, social services, schools and colleges, physical therapy offices and fitness Studios, to name a few. Call around andsee, the offices to be closed, new patient and let them know that you are open. (Make sure) thank them for referrals.
3. Contact your local employers. For example, the local Wal-Mart and Home Depot. These employers, you may receive an occupational health office or department personnel. Let them know that you open a new practice. By the way: Consider discussing with these large employers on their needs for the health of workers and the prevention of disease. It is possible thatYou can be in a position to a vaccine clinic, or meet other health needs represents.
4. Is there a web site. I am amazed every day that a new patient tells me that they have found us on the Internet. Including your website your hours of operation, areas that you specialize in, your philosophy, health, and a resource page. More of my patients tell me they use the back side more than anything else on their website. We also have our new patient forms to download.
5. The only area that Iconsistently pay for an ad in the Yellow Book directories. That said, looking at the various directories that you have available in your community and choose and choose wisely. Not all Yellow Book directories are the same, treat them as nurse practitioners, their payroll, and their popularity in the community. However, since I asked my clients, I have noticed that many of them are using the directory.
Keep your results and make your marketing effortsaccordingly.
